There is no substitute for sheer pace on the rugby field and with numbers reduced Nant Conwy were able to exploit the fact whenever on the attack. A ball allowed to bounce from kickoff fell kindly into the hands of Sara Roberts who consequently powered over to begin the scoring exploits. It was she who also added the second a few minutes later when able to beat the defence out wide before touching down between the sticks. Heledd Roberts added the conversion and then scored a try of her own together with the extras following good interplay between a number of Nant players to get into the danger zone before the final pass found Heledd in support.
Caernarfon who had been caught cold were struggling to gain any forward momentum and bar the likes of Sophie Ellis were not forcing Nant into errors that could have provided them with more ball. However from one attacking scrum a blind side dart by Molly Kelly saw her in the clear and she was able to fend off several defenders to score out wide. More so the two added points from Sioned Phillips's immaculate touchline conversion were a welcomed bonus.
Sally Murray then restored the near twenty point cushion with a run from deep before a series of drives saw the ever present Mali Williams at hand to score a fine try. Sara Roberts then picked up a lost ball to run clear and score before Sally Murray recorded her second with an angled run. Heledd Roberts was successful with the four conversions and added another when Leah Roberts broke clear to score. Leah then emulated her sister Sara by scoring her second following a lengthy touchline run to bring the match to a close.
